Presonus Eris Pro Sub 10 rear view with connectors Powerhouse in the low frequency range
The Presonus Eris Pro Sub 10 is a powerful subwoofer that can extend the frequency range of monitoring systems down to an incredible 20 Hz. It delivers an average of 170 W of power and generates a maximum sound pressure of an impressive 113 dB RMS at 1 m distance. This makes it sufficient for all mixing applications, but it also comes into question as a supplement for home theater systems, stereo and compact systems or DJ setups.
Connections & Adjustments
The Eris Pro Sub 10 is equipped with an active crossover and connections for balanced and unbalanced signals, so it can be connected directly to active speakers and an audio interface respectively the consumer electronics of your choice. In doing so, you can adjust the input level and crossover frequency to your liking. An additional high-pass filter removes the sub-bass of the connected satellite speakers, which cleans up the sound considerably in problematic listening conditions, and a phase rotation switch allows you to position the Pro Sub 10 more freely without fear of cancellations around the crossover frequency. The front bass reflex port also allows it to be placed directly against the wall.
The Eris Pro Sub 10 enriches any sound setup, whether for classic studio work in recording, mixing and mastering , but is also well equipped to provide more "fun" in the bass range for private sound systems.
